Railroad is rock band from, Hamburg, Germany. Everything began in September 1989. Five boys from the northern region of Hamburg wanted to rock and rock! One and half years later came their first Demo - "Get up, we've arrived at the station!". Then, as with most bands, the band members remixed and reshuffled until the brothers Herb (bass) and Arne (guitar& vocal) found the perfect harmony with Tim (guitar) and Ole (drums) who have the right attitude and the right taste to really "Rock and Roll"!

Since then, they've performed at many festivals in Niedersachsen, Westfalen and diverse gigs in and around Hamburg area! Above all, these four musicians know how to impress by playing live! The sheer joy of playing and the electric atmosphere that prevails soon affects the crowd! That's why the "Pinneberger Tageblatt" once wrote about Railroad: "...Rock 'n' Roll is not dead! It only has to be played by the right people!"

In spring 2004 the 5 track EP, "Damned Right", was released. In April 2005 came the next CD, "Girls, Guitars, Rock 'n' Roll!". Loaded with the CD in tow and definately with the motto at heart, the band played in Hamburg, Bremen and in summer 2005 through the east German clubs! In November 2005, Railroad played a convincing gig with the UK-Boogie band "Predatür" at the MarX club in Hamburg! After some gigs in 2006 around Hamburg, Railroad played a good one at a club in southern London and in November 2006 the international "Heads Down And Boogie" festival in Bönningstedt / Hamburg. Next stops in 2007 will be Berlin, Hamburg, Holland and some gigs in the south of Germany. We'll see! There's no shortage of song ideas, so in the middle / end of 2007 will probably find Railroad in the studios to record a new "longplayer"!
