Hi!! This is Francesco! even if my name is Francesco they use
to call me Pi! I'm a young guitar player! I was born on 4th December 1989 in
Italy. I started playing when I was 10 or 11... I can't remember... I know just
I wanted to have a band like Guns n' Roses! Anyway, now I'm still playing and
trying to become as good as possible... 'cause I wanna be a RockStar and a GREAT
guitar player! I put into this passion all my passion and all my heart. In 2005
I won my first solo guitar contest: I performed Yngwie's "Far Beyond The
Sun". I won a Fender Stratocaster U.S.A and a diploma. In 2006, during
the second edition of the festival / contest, I performed at Jason Becker's
Altitudes... I won again. This time they gave me another Fender Stratocaster
(but coloured different) and a diploma. Now I'm banned from this contest, but
I've been invited for the next year as "special guest"...
I'm learning from a great teacher, Lelio
Padovani. He teaches me all the secrets of the art of playing and gives
me always advices! THANKS! I envite you to visit his myspace page!! I think
Heavy Metal is not just a kind of music, but is a real way of leaving... I always
can find help for living in it! It teaches me always to live the every top moment
of our life, putting our heart in what we do.
"Pinna's Discipulos" is my solo project... this is
my own music (which I wrote and arranged) in which I put all my feelings. My
music is misunderstood from the most part of people, maybe because it could
sound a bit "particular", but this is my music and I can't do in a
different way, becausa my music reflect the big caos in my young mind!!! In
these songs I play guitars, bass, keyboards (DX-7 RULES!), percussions, the
drum is performed by my dear friend Ka-Tempesta. Unfortunatly, the quality isn't
good 'cause the songs are recorded in my house with bad microphones!!! SORRY!!!
